Senator Dan McConchie '93, '95 and TFAS are teaming up to offer up to $5,000 in matching gifts to The Senator Dan and Milena McConchie Scholarship Fund!

The Senator Dan and Milena McConchie Scholarship Fund provides financial support for young leaders to attend The Fund for American Studies (TFAS) academic programs, with preference given to students from Ukraine and Bulgaria to attend the TFAS International program in Prague—a place that held deep significance for Milena and Dan.

Dan and Milena first met during their initial week as TFAS students in Prague, Czech Republic, in 1995. Their time there not only shaped their futures but also marked the beginning of a lifelong love story. Milena was a compassionate, brilliant, and deeply kind person whose kindness touched everyone she met. She believed in the power of education to transform lives and was passionate about helping young leaders achieve their dreams.

Through this scholarship, Milena’s legacy lives on—empowering students to follow in her footsteps, embrace new opportunities, build connections across cultures, and pursue the philosophical examination of government, economics, society and culture, and conflict management.
