A legacy of learning has become a family tradition. After TFAS Trustee and alumnus John Lee '85 participated in the TFAS program in 1985, the experience left a lasting impact for decades. Years later, all three of his children followed in his footsteps: Campbell Lee (FTE 2014), Jack Lee (FTE 2017, TFAS 2021), and Abigail Lee (FTE 2020, TFAS 2023), each participating in TFAS and shaping their own paths through its transformative programs. Additionally, John's niece, Molly Nixon, attended TFAS in 2003. Between all of them, their family has taken part in seven TFAS programs.
This Alumni Giving Day, celebrate stories like theirs where one opportunity creates a ripple effect across generations. Every gift to the alumni campaign will be matched through the Lee Family Legacy Challenge, up to $2,500.
βMy dad would always describe TFAS as one of the most influential summers of his life, so I always had it in the back of my mind,β Jack Lee '21 said. βAnd after looking into the program, I knew it was something I wanted to do too.β
